The role of a manager includes wearing a lot of different hats successfully. From leading to focusing on members to coaching to actually getting work done, there never seem to be enough hours in the day. So who has time for business development? With the right toolkit, we all do. 

Business development focuses on developing partnerships and strategic relationships. The main goals are to get the word out about what makes your credit union different, as well as to increase awareness about what you offer. During this session, we'll look at your role in increasing engagement with the two groups of members that business development impacts: potential members and existing members. 

As a result of this session you will:

  • Learn specific tactics to serve both your potential members and your existing members;

  • Better understand the role your credit union can play in the lives of your members and small business owners;

  • Incorporate your whole team in your business development efforts to broaden your reach;

  • Embrace methods of creating the unique member experience your members desire; and,
