Kentucky Credit Union League Professional Development ScholarshipsThe Kentucky Credit Union League provides limited educational scholarships which may be utilized for the professional development of individuals in the credit union movement. Granting scholarships maximizes the opportunity for Kentucky credit unions to use development activities to:
Scholarships will be granted for education programs produced by the Kentucky Credit Union League until the budgeted funds are used. Only one scholarship per credit union will be granted for each educational or training program produced by Kentucky Credit Union League. Scholarships must be used only for the program for which it was granted. With approval from the League President and/or the League Education Director, individuals may substitute other individuals from the same credit union. If the grant is not used for the program for which it was awarded, the grant will be returned to the scholarship fund and reassigned at a later date at the discretion of the League President and/or the League Education Director. Qualification Guidelines for Credit Unions Individuals from credit unions with assets of $20 million to $50 million qualify for scholarships granted for the program fee. These credit unions may receive scholarship grants up to a maximum of $300 per year. Individuals from all credit unions whose circumstances at the time of the educational activity prevent participation. Circumstances include unplanned increased expenditures, unplanned changes in staff or overall operations, or other unplanned events preventing participation. SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION
Southeast CUNA Management School ScholarshipsThe SRCUS Management School Scholarship is a scholarship for use at the Southeast CUNA Management School in Athens, Georgia. The Scholarship is awarded for the current year. Second and Third-year students must reapply for scholarships each year. Scholarship funds may be used toward tuition and expenses. Established in 1971, the Southeast CUNA Management School is the most comprehensive, college-level training opportunity available for southeastern credit union professionals. Students take a series of courses during each eight-day session for three consecutive years. Each session provides an opportunity for students to master a challenging curriculum, participate in hands-on projects, and exchange ideas with fellow attendees. Graduates of the Southeast CUNA Management School consistently reach top leadership positions in credit unions and are prepared to handle the challenges credit unions face in human resource management, operations, marketing, financial analysis, risk management, and much more.
