Relationship Rewards

JUMP TO:          HOW IT WORKS          PARTICIPATING SERVICE PARTNERS          FAQs

We continually strive to enhance the benefits for our member credit unions.  To that end, we are pleased to introduce the Relationship Rewards program.

How It Works

We have teamed up with a selection of service partners who have agreed to a revenue share with Kentucky's Credit Unions on the contracts they secure in our state. Through Relationship Rewards, credit unions that conduct business with participating service partners will be eligible to receive a rebate the following year.

FAQs

What is Relationship Rewards?
Relationship Rewards is a new program through which Kentucky’s Credit Unions shares revenue with member credit unions. When member credit unions do business with a company participating in our Relationship Rewards program, they will receive a rebate on what they have paid to that company in March the following year in the form of a check.

Are all your service partners included in Relationship Rewards?
Participation in Relationship Rewards is limited to partners that share a portion of their revenue directly back to the League. Please refer to the Relationship Rewards page on our website for a current list of participating partners, as well as any terms and conditions that may apply specifically to individual partners. This list will continue to grow as we add more partners to the program.

How do I earn a rebate through the Relationship Rewards program?
Rebates will be earned on invoices that have been paid during the calendar year. Rebates will be paid out in the form of a single check, which will be mailed out in March of the following year. Payment must be received by the partner company before end of business in Q4 of the calendar year for a rebate to be paid out in March.

How much will I get in my rebate?
Rebates will vary from partner to partner depending on their level of support to the League through the Relationship Rewards program and any special terms or conditions that may apply to them specifically. Please see the chart above for the tiers of support and their applicable rebate levels. If a partner has special terms and conditions, it will be included on the Relationship Rewards information page on our website.

How do I earn a rebate through the Relationship Rewards program?
Rebates will be earned on invoices that have been paid during the calendar year. Rebates will be paid out in the form of a single check, which will be mailed out in March of the following year. Payment must be received by the partner company before the end of business in Q4 of the calendar year for a rebate to be paid out in March.

How do I know what I am earning throughout the year?
We will be checking in with our Relationship Rewards partners quarterly to review the year’s progress. We plan to issue statements after each quarter to update you on your existing rewards. Please note that rewards will be earned as invoices are paid to participating RR partners and that is what will be reflected in your statements. If you see an error or have a question after reviewing a quarterly statement, please check in with Jenna Dye. Statements will go out later in the following quarter after we have received updated data from our participating partners.

How will I receive my rebate?
We are paying you a part of the revenue share we receive from our partners in the Relationship Rewards program. Your rebate will accrue over the course of the year and be paid out in the form of a single check, issued by Kentucky’s Credit Unions. The check will be issued in March of the following year.

Can I apply my rebate to my dues or to pay for services or classes from Kentucky’s Credit Unions?
Or receive it in a different form of payment? We only want to give you the best experience with the Relationship Rewards program. In the interest of accuracy, we will only be issuing rebates in the form of a check. Trying to track multiple forms of payment would cause confusion and lead to errors.

Why do I have to wait until March to get a check for the prior year’s rebate?
Our partners need time to process their end-of-year business, then issue us a check for our revenue share. March will allow those partners and our own office the time we need to process the previous year’s information so we can issue a final statement and rebate check.

I already do business with a Relationship Rewards partner, will I get a rebate for prior years?
The program began in January 2024 and will only pay rebates from that point on.

I already do business with a Relationship Rewards partner, do I need to do anything?
Please send an email to Jenna Dye to let her know about your existing relationship with a Relationship Rewards Partner. As long as you are a member in good standing with Kentucky’s Credit Unions and conducting business during the current calendar year, you are likely already earning a rebate. Checking in with Jenna will help us maintain transparency with our partners and with you, as well as helping us maintain accurate records for future rebates. Rebates will be earned on invoices paid during the current calendar year. Note: There are a few instances where a credit union may not be eligible due to their contract/relationship with a partner pre-dating the League’s partnership with that company. In those cases, we do not receive a revenue share for those contracts to share back to you in a rebate.

My credit union is an associate member with Kentucky’s Credit Unions, do I get a rebate?
At this time, only full members in good standing of Kentucky’s Credit Unions can earn a rebate, since we do not receive revenue share from our partners for credit unions based outside of Kentucky.
