An Introduction to Opening Business Accounts

Opening a new business account can be one of the most daunting tasks that a new account representative may face. There are a wide variety of business structures available, each with its own nuanced documentation requirements.

Join Regulatory Compliance Counsel Michael Christians on Monday, September 21st for an introduction to opening business accounts. This half-day session is designed to make you the business account expert at your credit union. During this highly interactive program, attendees will:

  • Identify the five main types of business organizations,
  • Learn what documentation is required in connection with opening business accounts,
  • Understand the specific CIP requirements associated with business accounts, and
  • Identify the enhanced due diligence that must be performed in connection with business accounts.

At the end of our time together, we will conduct a handful of case studies to put your newfound knowledge of business accounts to the test!

This training will be a LIVE IN-PERSON event held at the Kentucky Credit Union League office.  The health and safety of our attendees is a top priority for us.  Therefore, the League will be following social distancing guidelines for small groups.  We strongly encourage registrants to obtain CEO approval before registering for this training.
