Get Out the Vote: Make it easier for members to cast their votes.

With a credit union tax hearing looming and a broad tax bill almost certainly on the horizon, it's critical that credit unions leave a lasting impression with lawmakers in the November elections. Leaving a lasting impression election night isn't hard to do. For credit unions, making sure members vote is all it takes.

Step 1:

Make sure your members are registered to vote.

Step 2:

Get Out the VoteMake sure your members vote.

  • CUNA has added a component to its Web site to make it even easier for members to vote by mail or absentee. Credit Unions wanting to offer early and absentee voting information to members need only add a link to CUNA’s Helping Americans Vote webpage.

Step 3:

Remind members to vote.

  • A Get Out the Vote campaign can be a simple as using CUNA's free downloadable artwork: GOTV Posters
